You will appear for SITM's Technical & Aptitude Test in
our campus. For your convenience TAT is scheduled on two days. You
can appear for the test on any one of the two dates. This date has to
be mentioned in the application form.
Step
3:Lab Practical Test
The
same day you will appear for a 90 minute Lab Practical test on C Programming
(Turbo C IDE to be used) on our Personal Computer.
Step
4: Interview
You
will attend a Technical as well as Personal Interview (TI/PI) immediately
after the practical test on tha same day.

5:Selection/Final Admission
Admission
to the program is strictly on the basis of performance in the TAT/Lab
Practical Test/TI/PI.
Step 6:Declaration
of Results
A
merit list and a waiting list will be displayed on our website on the
day mentioned in the schedule.The same will be intimated to all the selected
students individually.

7:Fees
Once
the merit list is displayed the selected students will have to confirm
their admission by paying Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) at our

on structure and syllabus for the Written Tests and Interview
Advanced Program in Computer Application - June 2007
The selection
process, consisting of written tests and interview, has been designed
along with some of the leading IT companies - who have also been involved
in designing, implementing and assessing all aspects of this Program.
The objective
is to assess your knowledge against the pre-requisites for the Program,
as desired by the IT sector. The cumulative level of the selected batch,
then, forms the base-line to build further knowledge and skills during
the Program itself.
SITM's Technical & Aptitude Test(TAT)
You will
appear for a SITM's Technical & Aptitude Test (TAT) test in our
campus.
For your convenience the TAT is scheduled on 2 days. You can appear for
the test on any one of the two dates. This date has to be mentioned in
the application form.
Lab Practical
Test
The same
day you will appear for a 90 minute lab. practical test on "C"
programming (Turbo C IDE to be used) on a Personal Computer. The assignment
will be on topics from structures, arrays & strings and pointers.
Interview

Computer organization, Primary and Secondary storage, Input-output devices, Computer software, Operating systems,
Data communications and computer networking, Multimedia, Algorithms, 8086 microprocessor block diagram, addressing modes,
RISC and CISC architecture, pipelining, Interrupts – types of interrupts, Interrupt Vector Table, Interrupt processing,
Operating system functions, Types of operating system, Job scheduling, Memory management – paging, segmentation. |
Section II: Programming in C (30 marks)
Introductory concepts, C Fundamentals, Operators and Expressions, Data Input and Output – console I/O,
formatted I/O, String I/O, Control statement, Functions, Arrays, Pointers.

Section III: Object Oriented Programming Concepts (10 marks)
Understanding of the object oriented concepts, such as Classes and Objects, Generalizations, Access Modifiers, Polymorphism,
Abstract Classes and Re-usability, Operator overloading, function overloading etc.
