The Master of
Engineering Degree in Manufacturing (30 Credit hours)
TThe
Master of Engineering Degree in Manufacturing
via Internet, effective Fall 2006, is a course-only,
professionally oriented program that requires a minimum of 30
credit hours. There is no thesis or comprehensive examination
requirement. The student, in consultation with the academic
advisor, prepares a program reflecting individual needs and
interests. The certificate programs require completion of 4
courses. Courses taken to fulfill certificate requirements
completed with a grade of “B” or better may later be approved
for the Master of Engineering Degree in Manufacturing. All

Admission requirements
Cumulative minimum undergraduate GPA 3.0/4.0 (First Class in
India). Students should have a bachelor’s degree in an
appropriate field of study when applying as a certificate
student. If the bachelor’s degree was completed at an
institution outside the United States, and the language of
instruction was English, the TOEFL is not required.

GRE minimum score:
For tests taken before October 1, 2002: 1600 (quantitative +
verbal + analytical).
For tests taken after October 1, 2002: 1000 (quantitative +
verbal) and 3.0 (analytical).
